Jim wakes from a coma to find himself alone in the hospital. It’s not long before he discovers that he may be alone in London… Unfortunately for Jim he’s not and he’s going to have to adapt quickly. He soon finds himself fleeing from a group of infected Londoners who seem to want to eat him. Luckily Jim finds a group of survivers and joins with them. But how long can they stay alive when?
Danny Boyle is one of my absolute favourite directors; he just cannot get it wrong. 28 Days Later has some fantastic moments, notably the images of an abandoned London. The pace of the film is exhilarating to say the least, packed full of non stop action. I am a massive fan of zombie films and whilst these technically aren’t zombies I will let Danny get away with it because it’s just brilliant. Oh and the soundtrack is incredible.
