So the war between humans and vampires is over and humanity's savours, the Priests, are stripped of their power and forced to return to society, a society control by the church. When one Priest's niece is kidnapped in a vampire attack he breaks his vows to go and rescue her. He discovers that the war is far from over. This is a pretty good action flick with some good bits and some not so good bits. The best part of this film was Karl Urban who's character was excellent and deserved far more time on the screen.

Film 268/365, Day 297/365 – Inside Man
Brilliant, a thoroughly enjoyable(!) bank robbery. Everything is exceptionally planned out and masterfully delivered. Spike Lee delivers another great film. If you enjoy a good ‘how’d they do it’ then you will love this. Clive Owen is brilliant and Denzel Washington is good. Great film.
Synopsis: A bank robbery results in a hostage situation and whilst the regular hostage negotiator is not available it gives Detective Frazier the chance to make his mark. The problem is this is no ordinary bank robbery, they have everything planned down to the very last detail.

Film 31/365, Day 32/365 – Dragnet
Los Angeles, the city of Angels. Not as far as Detectives Friday and Streebek can see. They are investigating a number of bizare thefts caused by a criminal organisation known as the PAGANs. Friday plays everything by the book and to the letter of the law, whilst Streebek is more of a free spirit. Can these two detectives pull together and solve this crimewave?
This is how I best like to see Tom Hanks, back when he was a fantastic comedy actor. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy some of his more serious work, Forrest Gump is one of my all time favourites, but I have so many fond memories of The ‘burbs, Big or Batchelor Party. Dan Aykroyd is just brilliant in whatever he does and I will never get tired of watching his work, especially from the 1980s. Watch it!
