Film 344/365, Day 356/365 – Office Space

Brilliant, we’d all do it if we could.  Anyone that has worked in an office will find at least one thing to relate to in this film and most likely several more.  Milton is a fantastic character and Gary Cole is also brilliant as the apathetic boss.  Hilarious!

Synopsis:  Peter Gibbons doesn’t really enjoy his life and when his soon to be ex-girlfriend takes him to see a hypnotherapist things don’t get any better.  Once is a relaxed state the hypnotherapist has a heart attack and is unable to stir Peter from his state and goes about the rest of his life without a care.

Film 222/365, Day 238/365 – Just Go With It

There are some absolutely hilarious moments in this film, some pretty stunning bodies and a very predictable story.  The funny stuff and bodies more than make up for the storyline which is cute but like I said very predictable.  Worth watching for the scene with Brooklyn Decker in her bikini alone.

Synopsis:  Danny is a renowned plastic surgeon who wears a wedding ring to help him pull girls!  When Danny thinks he has found the girl of his dreams he has to convince her that he is getting a divorce.  However she wants to meet his wife, so Danny convinces his assistant to pretend to be his wife and things quickly escalate out of control.

Film 191/365, Day 204/365 – Horrible Bosses

Rude, unashamed and incredibly funny.  Horrible Bosses may not be for everybody, some may not be able to handle just how rude it is.  Me however, I loved it.  So, so. so funny.  If Jennifer Aniston has an opening I would be ready to fill it!!!  Hilarious.

Synopsis:  Three friends who all have problems with their horrible bosses, one is a psycho, one is a man-eater and the third is a coked up tool,  are fed up they make a pact to kill their bosses.  Now they need to find someone to do it or come up with a plan themselves.

Film 29/365, Day 29/365 – The Switch

Several years ago Cassie put Wally in the friend zone. Then when she told him that she wanted a baby and had found a guy who was willing to assist in the procedure, although not in the conventional way! Well Wally didn’t handle the news too well and at Cassie’s pregnancy party (I know really) he got very drunk and in a moment of madness found himself switching the donation for his own. Unaware of the switch Cassie moved away to raise her child in a more suitable environment. Now, some seven years later, she has moved back and Wally is only just remembering what he did that night.

The Switch was a nice film with a nice story, if a little strange at times. It’s definitely one to watch with the misses. There are some funny moments, mostly thanks to Jeff Goldblum who is brilliant. It’s ok if you’re looking for a chick flick but if you’re not then I wouldn’t worry, there are much funnier films available.
