Film 222/365, Day 238/365 – Just Go With It

There are some absolutely hilarious moments in this film, some pretty stunning bodies and a very predictable story.  The funny stuff and bodies more than make up for the storyline which is cute but like I said very predictable.  Worth watching for the scene with Brooklyn Decker in her bikini alone.

Synopsis:  Danny is a renowned plastic surgeon who wears a wedding ring to help him pull girls!  When Danny thinks he has found the girl of his dreams he has to convince her that he is getting a divorce.  However she wants to meet his wife, so Danny convinces his assistant to pretend to be his wife and things quickly escalate out of control.

Film 75/365, Day 79/365 – The Invasion

The Invasion was a high intensity version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers complete with eerie emotionless humans wondering around looking for any uninfected.  The action was very good throughout and told at quite a high tempo and the infected were very spooky.  It’s only flaw was that once again it was all too easy for the heroes to find out what was happening and to find a solution it.

Synopsis: A space shuttle explodes on entry to Earth’s atmosphere scattering debris from Washington DC to Dallas and anyone that comes into contact with it is changing.  Psychiatrist Carol Bennell has begun to notice the changes and realises that an alien virus is sweeping across the nation.  Can she find a way to stop the spread or is humanity doomed?
