Film 79/365, Day 82/365 – School of Rock

School of Rock is hilarious and a little bit cute, but mostly hilarious.  Jack Black is excellent as the loveable loser Dewey Finn.  You can’t help but want him to succeed.  Obviously it’s not the most taxing of stories but it should keep you entertained all the way through, not to mention the rocking soundtrack.  It rock’s!

Synopsis: Wannabe rock star Dewey Finn is desperate for some cash, he’s just been kicked out of his band and now his room-mate is threatening to throw him out if he can’t pay his rent.  So when he answers the phone he pretends to be his room-mate so that he can accept a substitute teacher’s role at a private school.  Soon he is teaching the kids all about rock and roll…
